These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the VAT Compliance Platform provided by Hoike Technologies (“we”, “our”, “us”). By using our service, you agree to the following:

1. Service Description

Hoike Technologies provides VAT automation tools including invoice processing, VAT calculations, and Making Tax Digital (MTD) VAT submission to HMRC.

2. User Responsibilities

You agree that:

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the invoice data you upload.
• You remain legally responsible for all VAT returns submitted to HMRC.
• You have permission to use the HMRC credentials you connect.

3. HMRC Integration

When connecting your HMRC account, you authorise Hoike Technologies to:

• retrieve your VAT obligations,
• submit VAT returns on your behalf,
• access your VAT liabilities, payments, penalties, and financial details.

4. Data Security

We securely store authentication tokens using industry-standard encryption and operate in full compliance with UK GDPR.

5. Liability

Hoike Technologies is not liable for:

• incorrect VAT returns caused by inaccurate user-uploaded data,
• HMRC API downtime or errors,
• your own failure to verify your VAT return before submission.

6. Pricing & Billing

Some services may require subscription fees, displayed at the point of purchase.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. HMRC data access will automatically be revoked.
